This week we kick off our Passport to Food meal kits! Travel with us to North Africa and create a Harissa chicken or fava bean dish with roasted root veggies and ramps! You can pick up a Moroccan themed rhubarb cardamom galette kit, Ethiopian coffee beans and even enjoy a prepared squash peanut soup with micro greens. Follow along this week as we travel (though food+ coffee) to North Africa!

We’ve added SEVERAL local grocery items, as we transition our business model to a little more than carry out coffee. If you’re in need of something new- try one of our curated grocery kits. Price vary to accommodate all budgets. If there’s anything you need, but you don’t see listed, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

We’ll be open Saturday from 9am-Noon for grocery pick up, coffee, pastries and smiling faces from afar! We are now offering delivery. Downtown Grass Lake is free. Chelsea/Grass Lake/Waterloo delivery of Norvell, Grass Lake Road, M52, Waterloo Road. Jackson delivery is Grass Lake to M60, between Page and I-94. Delivery fee is $10, with a minimum order of $25. Delivery times are Saturday between 2pm and 4pm, but not exact time.

Hey.
Wow! What a day. We’re exhausted… But in the best way possible. Things are scary right now, but you all keep us hopeful. In the midst of this pandemic, our tiny little community has show up to support us. Again and again, Grass Lake lifts us up! Right now we’re just taking it day by day. Today was a good day. A special thanks to each and everyone one of our community members who support our small business, not only through purchasing our goods, but through sharing our stories, giving us words of encouragement and making us feel needed.

With profound gratitude to Eric + Patti Poppe and the Dream Maker Fund, which is focused on small businesses in Jackson County, we will continue on! We’re happy to share with you that Roaming Goat was awarded $2,500 earlier this week. These funds will be used to replenish our quickly diminishing products, help us meet order minimums, assist to supplement payroll and more. Thank you.

Much love.
Britt + MJ
