Six Earn Softball All-State Honors

(June 21, 2023 5:22 PM ET) The Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association Division 3 all-state team looks like the Grass Lake High School starting lineup.

Five players from the Warriors earned first-team all-state honors as voted on by the coaches association.

Here are the six Jackson County players named as all-state players for 2023. 

Division 2 All-State Honorable-Mention

Hailey Whisman, Parma Western, pitcher

Division 3 All-State First-Team

Emily Brown, Grass Lake, outfielder

Emily Guthrie, Grass Lake, shortstop

Rylee Fitzpatrick, Grass Lake, second base

Olivia Turner, Grass Lake, third base

Bree Salts, Grass Lake, catcher
