Bone Island Grille/Rappleye Farms 22 JVB Investments/Brass Rail 1. Josh Woolworth went 4 for 4 with 2 triples, a double and 6 RBIs while Rich Vinton went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI’s for Bone Island/Rappleye Farms. Travis McCann went 1 for 1 with a walk for JVB/Brass Rail.
Dekes Uptown Tire & Auto 21 Arbor Woods 20. Dekes came back from a 17 to 3 start after 3 innings. Adam Gorsuch drove in Adam Waskiewicz with the winning run in the bottom of the 7th inning. Nate Lamb led Dekes going 5 for 6 while Kevin Merrill also went 5 for 6 with 3 doubles and 5 RBIs. Chad Ottney went 5 for 5 to lead Arbor Woods.
Murph’s Pumps 9 The Steins 8. Murph’s Pumps scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th to come from behind and claim the victory. Mark Bradly hit a 3 run home run. Bradly also had a double and a single while Kyle Henry went 3 for 4 with a double for Murph’s. Adam Maxson went 3 for 3 for The Steins.
Broken Yoke Café 29 Rives 9. Andy Martinkiewicz went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs and Al Edwards went 3 for 5 with 4 RBIs to lead Broken Yoke. Craig Cyphers went 3 for 3 with a triple and 2 RBIs for Rives.
Men’s Orange Division
Modern Waste 23 Art Moehn/Airport Lanes Little Caesars 20. RJ Reynolds went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles with 7 RBIs; Jeff Miller went 4 for 4 with a home run while and 4 RBIs while James Sipes went 4 for 5 with a home run and a triple for Modern Waste who managed to win without star player James Wagner. Joey Clark went 5 for 5 with 2 home runs and 3 RBIs while Fadi Mustafa went 1 for 3 with a Grand Slam and 5 RBIs for Art Mowhn/Airport Lanes Little Caesars.
Brass Rail 6 Gerdau 4. Jordan Leathead went 3 for 3 and Kris Gunterman went 1 for 2 with a double for Brass Rail. Matt Curl and Dan Lewis each went 2 for 2 for Gerdau.
Mullins Roofing 11 Team Amp 10. Mullins managed to hang on for the win despite a great comeback attempt from Team Amp. Mike Norris went 4 for 4 while Shawn Crocker went 2 for 3 with a triple for Mullins Roofing. Jeff Gigalo went 4 for 4 with a double for Team Amp.
