SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women’s soccer team continues to climb the rankings moving up to No. 6 in the latest edition of the NAIA Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, released by the national office on Tuesday.

The ranking is the highest for the Cougars this season, and the highest since they were ranked No. 6 in the final regular season poll of the 2014 campaign.

Spring Arbor increased its winning streak to 11 after posting victories over Indiana Wesleyan University and the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) to wrap up the regular season slate last week. The Cougars boasted a perfect 9-0 mark for the third consecutive season in Crossroads League play to secure their fifth straight regular season conference championship.

Head coach Jason Crist and the Cougars (15-2-1, 9-0-0 CL) will begin postseason play on Saturday, Oct. 31 when they host Huntington University (9-9-0, 3-6-0 CL) in a Crossroads League Tournament Quarterfinal matchup beginning at 4 p.m.
