This month, 826michigan is a proud beneficiary of the Suburban Cares program at Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac. The program seeks to invest in community organizations that improve the world in which we live, work, and play. We are honored that they have chosen to help sustain our work to students across Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and Detroit.
According to Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac Business Development and Marketing Director Elissa Spangler, Mike Mosser is the catalyst for a lot of the community work they do. Speaking about his emphasis on Suburban Cares Elissa says, “He’s a huge proponent of these programs. He is a person who gives back in this community and truly challenges other businesses to do the same. It’s an inspiration to work for somebody who cares so much.”
Just this year, Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac joined as a sponsor for our Storymakers Dinner, is an 826michigan partner in Give Local Day (which includes not only a generous financial contribution, but donated radio spots, and Elissa Spangler herself traveling to no less than four radio stations to drum up energy and marketing support), and has pledged to donate $100 to 826michigan with the purchase of any vehicle. Buyers simply have to present a certificate that Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac has provided to us in abundance. We are so grateful to work alongside a car dealership that is as interested in our students’ success as we are.
