Women’s Plum Division
Mr. Tunes 7 Duffy’s/The Chase Sports Bar/White & Hotchkiss 6 Ashley Poole drove in Chris Todd with the winning run in the bottom of the 7th inning to break Mr. Tunes winless streak. Poole went 3 for 3 and Stephanie Arver went 2 for 3 with a pop out to the pitcher to lead Mr. Tunes. Sara Baum went 4 for 4 with a double and 3 RBIs in the loss.
Artemas Custom Cabinets 15 Pro DJ’s 7. Kali Kelch went 5 for 5 with a triple and Shannah Gazley went 4 for 5 to lead Artemas Custom Cabinets. Carolyn Thornton and Jacki Bryant each went 3 for 4 for Pro DJ’s.
Women’s Peach Division
Financial Services and Seminars 9 Barb’s Star Bar 4. Tammy Pittman went 3 for 3 and Donna Lemier went 3 for 3 with an inside the park home run to lead Financial Services and Seminars. Heather Owen blasted 2 hits including a double for Barb’s Star Bar.
Brass Rail 7 Duffy’s 6. Laurie Nearpass drove in her sister Ashley Nearpass in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs for the victory. Amanda Nearpass also added 2 hits to lead Brass Rail. Danni Jones had 2 hits including a triple for Duffy’s in a very well played competitive game.
Robins Roost 16 Veach’s Office Bar 4. Kasey Hogle went 4 for 4 and Teri Melchori went 3 for 4 to lead Robins Roost. Nikki Miller went 2 for 3 to lead Veach’s.
Men’s Orange Division
Duffy’s 16 ABC Supply/Mullins Roofing 8. Duffy’s remained undefeated led by Bob Ames who went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and 3 RBIs and Matt Wheeler who went 3 for 4 with a triple and a double (yes Matt had a triple). Mike Norris went 3 for 3 with 3 home runs for ABC Supply/Mullins Roofing.
Barb’s Star Bar/A & A Market II 22 Greystone Tavern/Certainteed 14. Scotty Bancroft went 6 for 6 while hitting for the cycle and Timmy Barnes went 4 for 4 to lead Barb’s/A & A. Jordan Leathead went 3 for 4 with a triple for Greystone/Certainteed.
On Tap 13 Summit Orthodontics 8. Dustin Akers and Derek Dowding each went 3 for 4 to lead On Tap. Kyle Bowler went 3 for 4 to lead Summit Orthodontics.
Men’s Green Division
Easy Tow/Triple D 8 DSMZ Properties 0. Al Edwards and Scott Gale each went 3 for 4 from the bottom of the line up to lead Easy Tow/Triple D. Phil McCracken went 2 for 2 with a double for DSMZ.
Automatic Sales/Rappleye Farms 16 Brass Rail 14. Drew Derr and Jason Gallatin each went 4 for 4 with a double to lead Automatic Sales/Rappleye Farms. Ken Harris was the player of the night going 4 for 4 with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs in a losing effort.
Associated Chiropractic 9 Automotive Services/H & M Welding 7. Associated Chiropractic was led by Tony Ortiz who went 3 for 3 Brad Gilersbach who went 3 for 4. Automotive Services/H & M’s comeback attempt fell just short after scoring 4 runs in the last two innings, led by Rich Cooper who went 3 for 4 with a double.
