Tindall Leads at Jackson County Golf Open

(July 20, 2024 8:13 PM ET) Par took a beating at Cascades Golf Course Saturday during the Jackson County Open.

Fifteen players shot par or better during the first round of the 36-hole tournament.

Lefty Andrew Tindall lead the event after shooting a 5-under-par 67 during the opening round.

Rusty Whisman, Zach DeFrain, Bret Valkuchak, and Jamie Clark are two shots behind after shooting 69s Saturday.

Mike Brockie, Riley Hestwood, Mike Boldt, and Mike Raymond are three shots back after producing 2-under par rounds of 70 in the opening round.

Greg Zeller, Brian Cook, John Blasius, and Owen Wilson carded 71s and Nick Reynolds and Tom Butterfield are even after rounds of 72.

More than 90 golfers will be split into flights for the final round Sunday at Cascades.
