(October 31, 2022 4:46 PM) The following local players were named to all-conference team for the Tri River 8-Man Football Conference as voted on by coaches. 

Offense – Mekhi Wingfield, receiver, Concord, Abe Reiniche, lineman, Concord, Lewis Fritz, kicker, Concord.

Athletes – Anthony Evans, Concord and T.J. Allen, Concord.  

Defense – Collin Thompson, Concord, lineman; Zach Green, Vandercook Lake, lineman; and Ja’Vion Taylor, Concord, defensive back.  

Honorable mention – Kyle Cavins, Vandercook Lake. 

Sportsmanship – Riley McCullar, Vandercook Lake and Logan Lamb, Concord.
