Two teams won Michigan High School Athletic Association district titles and three others have a chance tonight.

District tournaments will conclude tonight (Friday) at a number of locations around the area.

On Thursday, Vandercook Lake defeated Grass Lake in three sets, 25-21, 25-13, and 25-19.

The Jayhawks pulled ahead in game two as Morgan LeFaive served a number of points in the win.

Kate Leach finished with 14 kills, Kaely Howard finished with 30 digs, and LeFaive tallied 19 assists for the Jayhawks.

Vandercook Lake will face the winner of Dansville/Bath in the first round of the regional at Leslie High School. The semifinal contest is scheduled on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Northwest defeated Okemos 3-2, getting off to a quick start with 12 consecutive points in game one.

The Mounties will play in the Battle Creek Lakeview regional against the winner of St. John/Grand Ledge. The regional semifinal is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Western will play in the Division 2 district final tonight beginning at 5 p.m. The Panthers will face Tecumseh in the finals at Onsted High School. (story updated to correct game time)

The winner will face Haslett on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., also at Onsted.

Concord will host Hanover-Horton in the Division 3 district final tonight. The Yellow Jackets and Comets will play at 7 p.m.

The winner will advance to the Leslie regional against Hudson Tuesday at approximately 6:30 p.m.

The Tigers defeated Addison 3-0 in the Jonesville district on Thursday.
