(October 22, 2021 3:02 PM) The Michigan Department of Transportation has announced two construction projects will start next week that will require traffic adjustments.
Starting Monday in Brooklyn, MDOT is replacing the Neery drain culverts at the US-12/M-50 intersection. US-12 will be closed and detoured via M-124. An alternate route is advised. This work will result in better drainage that will help protect this roadway. This closure begins on Monday, October 25 at 7 AM and is scheduled for completion at 5 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021.
Starting Tuesday in Jackson, MDOT will close one lane in each direction on US-127 at M-50 for deck repairs. Traffic will be reduced to one lane. An alternate route is advised. Lane closures will begin at 7 AM on Tuesday, October 26 and will be completed by 6 PM on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
