Jackson County Veterans will be remembered in a ceremony at Withington Park on Tuesday, Veterans Day starting at 11 AM. Jackson County Veterans’ Affairs Director Dave Welihan shared some statistics on the holiday and the county’s veteran population. Brian Bean, USMC Reservist joined Dave as the Marine Corps celebrated its 239th birthday today. Other guests: Terry DeDoes and Rich Castle, Consumers Energy hunter safety; Rock Mangus and Tyler Swartout, Mission of Hope Cancer Fund’s 20th anniversary; Paulo DeCola, Owner, Gold Crown Jewelers; Emma Dubensky, Daryth Lennox and Chase Myers, Jackson High School’s production of “Fools”; Alex Cash, Fitness Council of Jackson Executive Director, Glow Run.
