(March 10, 2026 4:42 PM ET) The Board of Directors of Vista Grande Villa has announced plans to enter into an affiliation with Otterbein SeniorLife, a faith-based, nonprofit senior living organization established in 1912 and based in Lebanon, Ohio. Under the proposed agreement, Vista Grande Villa will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Otterbein SeniorLife. Both organizations’ boards have approved the contractual terms, which now move into a period for required regulatory and procedural review.
Vista Grande Villa and Otterbein SeniorLife are both nonprofit senior care providers offering a full continuum of services. Chelsea Eisele, Executive Director of Vista Grande Villa, emphasized the focus on community and the future throughout the process: “This affiliation is about strengthening what already makes Vista Grande Villa such a special place — our residents, our staff, and our community. Partnering with Otterbein positions our community for long-term strength and stability while preserving the culture and care that define Vista Grande Villa.”
Through the affiliation, Vista Grande Villa will gain additional operational resources and support while maintaining the community’s commitment to exceptional care and resident experience. Jill Wilson, President and CEO of Otterbein SeniorLife, shared her enthusiasm about the partnership: “Otterbein SeniorLife is pleased to announce our planned affiliation with Vista Grande Villa, a senior living community we deeply respect for its high-quality care and strong commitment to residents. From the start, it was clear that Vista Grande Villa’s culture aligns closely with Otterbein’s faith-inspired mission to enrich individual life journeys for all.”
Following completion of the regulatory review process, Vista Grande Villa will be renamed Otterbein Jackson SeniorLife Community, reflecting Otterbein’s long-term commitment to serving the Jackson community. The community will continue with its current staff and leadership team while also gaining additional support from Otterbein’s home office.
