Leslie 42, Homer 0: Jackson Fossitt stepped in at QB on Friday for the Blackhawks. Fossitt threw for 109 yards and 3 touchdowns. Braydin Johnson had a receiving touchdown and caught two interceptions to lead the Leslie defense including one returned for a TD. Evan Dexter and Joey Adams also scored for LHS as they improved to 3-0 to begin the year.
Grand Rapids Catholic Central 28, Lumen Christi 14: GRCC QB Odin Spencer scored two rushing touchdowns and threw for one to lead the road win over the Titans. Wes Learned and Sean Walicki scored the two TDs for Lumen Christi. LC is now 1-2 and hosts U of D Jesuit next week. Full game recap here.

Mendon 56, Concord 26: QB Gavin Riske threw for 242 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Yellowjackets. CHS is now 2-1 and hosts Britton Deerfield next week.
Vandercook Lake 42, East Jackson 0: Coach Dan Midena and the Jayhawks are now 2-1 to begin the season as they dominated on homecoming night. VCL travels to Addison next Friday.

Springport 14, Decatur 0: The Spartans are now 3-0 to begin the year, defeating another Division 8 playoff contender on the road on Friday. Tucker Wiginton scored a TD and Easton Merrill scored one plus 59 rushing yards for the Spartans.
Napoleon 22, Jonesville 6: The Pirates bounced back from a home loss last week and handed Jonesville their first loss of the year on their field. Brenten Owen and Jayden Servis each rushed for over 60 yards to lead the Pirates ground game. NHS is now 2-1 and travels to D3 Fruitport next week.
Michigan Center 53, Hanover Horton 14: MC continues to dominate to start the year, now scoring 144 points through the first three games. QB Hadyn Hinkle went 15/22 for 239 yards with 2 TD’s. Hinkle also had 64 rushing yards and 3 rush TD’s. The Cardinals are now 3-0 and travel to Manchester next week.
Jackson 37, Pinckney 34: The Vikings earned their first win of the 2025 season, outlasting the Pirates on their home field and earning an SEC victory. QB Jaiden Ramirez had a day, scoring 6 touchdowns and rushing for 284 yards. Jackson is back at home next week and hosts Ypsilanti Community for the annual Pink Viking game.
Columbia Central 48, Grass Lake 0: CC earned win number one on the season at home on Friday, shutting out a Grass Lake team who scored 34 points the week prior. Bauston Pilaczynski ran for two touchdowns for CC, and QB Conor Rentfrow finished 11/16 for 154 yards and 1 TD. The Golden Eagles host Hanover Horton in an important Cascades-West matchup next Friday.
