The Grand River Marketplace Oktoberfest highlights a busy weekend of activities in Greater Jackson. Downtown entertainment entrepreneur John Burtka, owner of Grand River Marketplace, along with Brewer Ben Tackett provided a sneak peek of the beers to be introduced at the festival. The fun begins at 12 Noon with Randy Wrozek and the Hy-Notes throughout the afternoon, Big Foot Bob and the Toe Tappers in the evening, German foods and treats, face-painting, cotton candy and more. Other activities include the Jackson Family Fall Festival on the St. Johns/JCMS campus, Family Farmfest throughout Jackson County, Festival of the Forks in Albion and more.
