Westbound I-94 Ramp to US-127/M-50/West Avenue Closed Thursday

(November 9, 2022 7:21 PM) The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close the westbound I-94 ramp to US-127/M-50/West Avenue for sign maintenance.

Start date:  9 a.m.  Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022

Completion date:  Noon, Nov. 10, 2022

Traffic will be detoured via westbound I-94 to the Airport Road interchange, then eastbound I-94 to US-127/M-50/West Avenue. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.

Traffic markings and sign postings are a final step before the opening of the diverging diamond.  MDOT TSC Manager Kelby Wallace told JTV that MDOT hopes to open the new interchange at I-94/US 127/West Ave. as soon as this weekend.
