Coming this June, the City of Jackson Parks and Recreation Department will bring back its Adult Wiffleball League. Joe Hawley, Recreation Services Coordinator for the Department says the league is one of the more popular programs for young adults in the area. “Last year was our first time trying Wiffleball, and we were able to fill our league to capacity. Usually it takes a few seasons of a new program to get the participation we are looking for. To achieve that in just one year speaks to the popularity of the league. Bringing it back for a second year is a no-brainer for us.”

Registration for the league is currently taking place and is open to the first 12 teams. Games will be played Friday evenings in Ella Sharp Park beginning June 17th. This is an 18 and over league.   The deadline to register is June 13th. The cost is $150 per team. For more information, contact Hawley at 517-990-6289 or visit www.cityofjackson.org/adult.
