Weekend Preview

On today's Bart Hawley Show, Drummer Mike Lang of "Echoes of Pink Floyd" previews Saturday night's concert event at the Michigan Theatre. MLK Celebration at JCC

On this week's "Jackson Show", we present highlights from the 2013 Jackson Community College Martin Luther King, Jr. Dinner and Celebration. At this event, Sheila Patterson was honored with the MLK Medal of Service award; entertainment by the Jackson Black History Tour Group and keynote speech by Bern Nadette Stanis (Thelma from the CBS sitcom "Good Times").

Architect Claire Allen

This week on Where We Live,   JTV's visit to the home of Bill and Pat Fuerstenau, the Claire Allen designed building on W. Michigan Ave in Jackson.  This series of townhouses, known as the Ionia Block, once was the home of the architect.  Dozens of buildings in Jackson, including St. John's Catholic Church, the old post office (now the front of Consumers Energy) and the Jackson County Courthouse were all designed by Claire Allen.  Also, Judi Ganton hosts Senior Living.
