Lloyd and Judi Ganton and Paul Buchholz launched the new addition to the Lloyd Ganton Retirement Centers Daily Triva Game: The Prize Wheel. Contestants winning the daily trivia get to go for a spin for a chance at great prizes. Watch The Bart Hawley Show next week for your chance to call in and win. Lloyd, Judi and Paul reviewed 2013 at LGRC and invited viewers to attend the Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting which they sponsor. JCFCU Establishes Fund

Jackson Community Federal Credit Union CEO Jim Francis announced the establishment of a fund to benefit two children whose father recently passed away. Cougars topple Grace in second half comeback

WINONA LAKE, IN – For the second straight time in as many games the Spring Arbor University men's basketball team came from behind to win a basketball game. The latest comeback was Wednesday night as the Cougars toppled the Lancers of Grace College in Winona Lake, IN 64-57. Spring Arbor got off to a shaky start trailing the Lancers by 20 points after 12 minutes of play with the score 34-14. But the Cougars finished out the first half strong with a 19-3 run and went into the break trailing Grace 33-37. Xavier Prather hit a field goal with 14:40 on the clock to tie the game for the first time since the tip at 41-41 and Greg Hamilton nailed a 3-pointer with 5:07 to tie the game up for the third and last time at 52-52. After Grace scored a 2-point field goal, Thomas Starks connected on a 3-pointer to give Spring Arbor the lead which they would never relinquish for the rest of the game. Rob Hogans scored the last eight points for Spring Arbor, hitting six of six from the free throw line as well as a field goal. Hogans lead Spring Arbor with a game high…

City Hall Closes Due to Water Line Break

City Manager Patrick Burtch reported on the clean up efforts at City Hall after a sprinkler system supply pipe burst causing flooding and damage on the first floor and in the basement. First floor staff will be re-located to the second floor during repairs and City Hall will re-open on Thursday. Sheriff Directs Storm Response

Jackson County Sheriff Steve Rand provides an update on this week's snowstorm and record cold temperatures and the response by government. A number of accidents have been reported and several vehicles abandoned on roadways. The sheriff praised crews for their fast response in snow removal and provisions for citizen safety. A wind chill advisory remains in effect through 9am Wednesday with dangerous cold and strong winds expected.
