Spring Arbor Women’s Soccer lands at No. 10 in NAIA Top 25 Poll

  SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women’s soccer team is ranked No. 10 in the first regular season edition of the NAIA Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, announced by the national office on Tuesday.   Spring Arbor, which was ranked No. 8 in the preseason poll, is currently 6-2-1 overall with its only losses coming at No. 6 Benedictine College in double-overtime and No. 5 Martin Methodist. However, the Cougars also boast a pair of victories over Top 25 opponents, defeating No. 17 Siena Heights University and then-No. 11 The Master’s College, and earned a draw with the defending national champions and No. 1 ranked Lindsey Wilson College.   The Cougars are one of the most explosive attacking teams in the nation ranking second in the NAIA in assists (28), fourth in shots per game (24.0) and 15th in goals (26). Free Entertainment at the TCA September 24th

Photo:  Members of the TCA Big Band at a recent performance at the I-75 Michigan Welcome Center Tecumseh, Michigan – Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) is preparing to raise the curtain on this year’s season featuring comedy, electroluminescent puppetry, live music and so much more! Patrons, business sponsors and the general public are invited to the TCA on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7:30 pm for a sneak peak at this year’s line-up. The event includes appetizers, a cash bar, live performances by the Jimmy Rice Group, TCA Big Band Sax Quartet and more. Those in attendance will have a chance to win a selection of great prizes including a TCA gift basket and sets of complimentary tickets to each of our National Touring shows including the comedian Godfrey, Lightwire Theater, Humming House and The Verve Pipe. Local businesses that are advertising in our playbills will also be recognized as well as foundations and individual supporters. Local organizations including Tecumseh POPS Orchestra and Community Chorus, TCA Big Band and VocalAires and Carnegie Studios will all have representatives in the TCA lobby with information on their upcoming events as well.
