MLK Breakfast Selects Lt. Kyle Bowman for Keynote

Michigan State Police Jackson Post Commander Lt. Kyle Bowman will deliver the keynote address at the 14th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Diversity Breakfast.  The event will take place 7:30 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Gene Davis & Sons (3575 Francis Street).  All are invited to this enlightening community event to celebrate, honor and reflect Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream and to motivate youth for service and excellence.  The host of this event is the MLK Diversity Committee, a collaboration between the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, Jackson County Intermediate School District, Jackson Human Relations Commission and members of the Jackson community.   First Lieutenant Kyle Bowman began his career with the Michigan State Police (MSP) in 1995. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement and a master’s degree in Leadership: Homeland Security from Siena Heights University.  He completed the Homeland Security Executive Leaders and Fusion Leaders Program at the Naval Post Graduate School Center for Homeland Defense in Monterrey.  First Lieutenant Bowman currently serves as the Jackson Post Commander with the Michigan State Police.  He has held this position since September of 2014.  The Jackson Post provides police services in Hillsdale and Jackson Counties.   Prior to…
