At closing ceremonies Saturday evening, Catina Lowe from the American Cancer Society announced over 110 teams and over 1200 participants helped make the 2016 Relay a great success.  Over 500 survivors participated and more than 3500 lumninaria were lit in honor and memory of cancer victims. The theme this year, "Dr. Seuss-Jackson Hears A Cure" was celebrated with decorated tents and booths, along with games and attractions tied to the theme.  Top team fundraisers leading up to the event included America's Preferred Home Warranty,  Team Eaton and Junk Yard Girls.  Individual top fundraisers included Karyn Mericle, Kym Parker and Deborah Erke.
