“Holiday in the Hills” Planned for this Weekend
On the weekend of December 2 through 4, many Irish Hills organizations and businesses will be participating in Holidays in the Hills, an entire weekend filled with things to do. Experience a weekend full of holiday joy and festivities including a charity track drive at Michigan International Speedway, Santa visits, a gala, craft show, lots of holiday shopping with specials, a festival, open houses, and so much more. The Brooklyn-Irish Hills Chamber of Commerce decided to promote the first weekend of December as Holiday in the Hills when they noticed several their members were holding events on that weekend. “We decided to build on that weekend, hoping to give visitors an array of events and activities to choose from, making the Irish Hills a holiday destination.” said Cindy Hubbell, Executive Director of the Brooklyn-Irish Hills Chamber. The list of things to do in the area has grown over the last couple of years.
