The Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect will hold a CAP (Child Abuse Prevention) Kick-Off, today at 12 Noon at Austin Blair Park.  Join CPCAN supporters as we bring awareness to child abuse prevention by planting a pinwheel garden.  Open House Luncheon directly after the Kick-Off.  606 Greenwood Place, Jackson. The Michigan Theatre and Kiwanis present Spring Break Movies all this week.   Featured film is “Ferdinand”.  After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure Show times are 10 A.M. and 2 P.M. Doors open a half hour before film. Admission is 1 Dollar. Spring Break at the Planetarium.  Shows at 11 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM.  Admission is $5.  Join us on our journey through the many wonders of the springtime night sky.  We'll check out a seasonal offering of planets, star clusters, and galaxies. Sunny and Chilly Easter

A chilly day is in store but some sunshine can be expected as high pressure builds into the region. Dry weather will continue on Monday before a low pressure system spreads a variety of weather into the area on Tuesday. Snow accumulations are possible across central and northern lower Michigan, while rain and a few thunderstorms are forecast across southern Lower Michigan. Easter Sunday Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. West wind 8 to 11 mph. Tonight Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 21. West northwest wind 3 to 8 mph.
