A weak area of low pressure will generate some precipitation around the region today. Snow and rain showers are forecasted with some minor accumulations possible mainly this morning. Locally slick travel could occur. A ridge of high pressure tracks through on Tuesday resulting in dry weather. Southwesterly winds develop on the backside of this departing system for Wednesday which will push the colder airmass into Ontario. As a result a moderating trend to the temperatures will occur along with a risk for some showers. A cold northwesterly flow out ahead of this system will gradually weaken here in Michigan during that timeframe.
