Swiss Steak Dinner.  The Sandstone Congregational Church will be hosting its Swiss Steak Dinner on September 26  from 4-6 p.m.    The menu will be Swiss Steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, cole slaw, vegetables, rolls, beverage and dessert.  The cost is $9.  The Fellowship Center is on the lower level.  Parking is available at both the lower and upper level with elevator access to the lower level.  For more information call 750-4245 or 474-1209. Yoga at the Meijer Branch,  Jackson District Library.  Join us at the  Meijer Branch every Monday and Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., and Friday at 8:30 a.m. and let Jeanette Lamphere teach you yoga. Suggested donation of $3. Intended for adults. Search, Rescue, Narcotics and Personal Protection Dog Demonstration.  4 PM to 5 PM.  Join the Spring Arbor Branch, Jackson District Library, for live demonstrations from the Independent Search and Rescue Team lead by Bill Collins.  Come watch Bill and his working dogs, Ricky and Bailey! Henry Ford Allegiance Health to Expand Front Entrance and Remodel Lobby

Henry Ford Allegiance Health has announced plans to expand the front entrance of the hospital and remodel the lobby area.  The project will enhance way-finding so that patients, families and visitors can more easily navigate its expanding hospital structure, including its new West Tower of private patient rooms. This renovation will also include a more welcoming environment in the lobby area. “This is really about ensuring our patients have the best experience we can possibly provide. From the moment patients approach the hospital, we want them to feel welcome by creating a calm, healing environment that reflects the high quality of care and service we offer. One way to achieve this is to create an entrance with an inviting look and atmosphere,” said Henry Ford Allegiance Health Integration Advisor Karen Chaprnka. “Most importantly, we want to make it as easy as possible for patients and customers to find their way to the services they need.
