Henry Ford to Build Outpatient Surgery Center in Grass Lake
Henry Ford Allegiance Health has finalized the purchase of a 40-acre parcel of land on Mt. Hope Road in Grass Lake. Immediate plans for the property include the construction of an outpatient surgery center that will serve as a hub for procedures that allow the patient to return home the same day. Henry Ford Allegiance Health president and CEO Georgia Fojtasek said, “This announcement represents a continued investment by Henry Ford Health System in the communities we serve. When complete, our new outpatient surgery center will give patients in our region expanded access to safe, affordable care from outstanding surgeons trained in the latest techniques.” Future uses of the site will likely include the expansion of other outpatient services. There is no timeline for those decisions at present.
