Extreme Dodge Jackson County Scoreboard January 29, 2023

Bowling Mel Wolf Bowling Tournament at JAX 60: Western High School was the only Jackson County School to qualify for the top-eight stepladder portion of the Mel Wolf Boys Bowling Tournament. The Panthers finished with a pin total of 3,140 for eight Baker games and two individual games.  Western lost to New Boston Huron in the quarterfinals despite a 248 game by Jacob Martinez. Grass Lake missed the top eight by 13 pins at 3,096, Napoleon was 12th scoring 3,056, Northwest finished 14th at 3,010, Lumen Christi finished 17th at 2,956, Hanover-Horton placed 20th with 2,797 pins, Michigan Center was 22nd scoring 2,703, East Jackson placed 25th at 2,600, and Vandercook Lake was 28th scoring 2,210.  On Deck for Jan. 30, 2023 Boys basketball Grass Lake at Manchester 7 p.m.  Lansing Christian at Jackson Christian 7 p.m.  Napoleon at Hanover-Horton 7 p.m.  Girls basketball Michigan Center at Leslie 7 p.m.  Lakeview at Western 7 p.m.  Competitive cheer Big Eight at Concord 6 p.m.  Bowling Onsted at Columbia Central (Ten Pin) 3:45 p.m.  Hanover-Horton at East Jackson (JAX60) 3:30 p.m.  Vandercook Lake at Michigan Center (JAX60) 3:30 p.m.  Gymnastics Western at Haslett 6 p.m.

Jackson College Winter Film Series.  “The Graduate”. Benjamin Braddock (Dustin Hoffman) has just finished college and, back at his parents' house, he's trying to avoid the one question everyone keeps asking: What does he want to do with his life? An unexpected diversion crops up when he is seduced by Mrs. Robinson (Anne Bancroft), a bored housewife and friend of his parents. But what begins as a fun tryst turns complicated when Benjamin falls for the one woman Mrs. Robinson demanded he stay away from, her daughter, Elaine (Katharine Ross).  Doors open at 6:30 pm.
