Extreme Dodge Jackson County Scoreboard September 20, 2023

Photo courtesy Western Athletics. Volleyball Western 3, Northwest 0: The score was pretty much a secondary factor in the match at Western High School Wednesday night. The Western Panthers and Northwest Mounties teamed up Wednesday night in support of Team Kenzie. Kenzie Hiler is a 2022 graduate of Western High School and a former volleyball player who is currently battling Leukemia. Both teams sported a Team Kenzie shirt on the floor to show their support for Kenzie because "No One Fights Alone." All proceeds from the game will be donated to the Hiler Family. Western won the match 25-16, 25-21, and 25-14 in front of a packed house. Kayda Herrick and Bayli Stewart each tallied 10 kills for Western. Abby Nieswender dished 21 assists, Palmer Fortress contributed 29 digs and J.J. Lewis added 19 digs for the Panthers (18-4 overall, 2-0 conference).  Boys Soccer Jonesville 3, Michigan Center 2: Spencer Berkeypile scored both goals for the Cardinals. Logan Church registered one assist and Kaden Leighton finished with seven saves in net for MCHS.  Columbia Central 1, Leslie 1: The two teams are evenly matched as they tied Wednesday night and CCHS won a game 3-2 earlier in the season.  Manchester 3,…

The Green Market at Henry Ford.  Summer outdoor market:  Thursdays 9 AM – 2 PM. Corner of E. Mich.
