(June 11, 2020 10:54 PM) Organizers of the Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists, P.C. Rose Run have announced the event this year will be run as a virtual event.  Out of an abundance of safety and concern for participants, Race Director Jeff Beagle announced a Virtual Rose Run will take place from June 13th to July 18, 2020.  Beagle said in a message to runners, the Jackson Rose Run Committee plans to have a huge celebration at next year’s race to acknowledge the 50th running event.

The event is a part of the Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists Run Series and is the area’s longest-running race event and one of the longest-running event of its kind in Michigan.  Held for most years on and around the Jackson College Central Campus, the Jackson Rose Run is a fundraiser for the Jackson College Jets athletic teams.

Participants can choose from among these virtual events:  5K Run/Walk, 10K Run, Half Mile Kid’s Run, and a 10 Mile Run.  No ORS Series points will be awarded and results are for entertainment purposes only.

The committee posted a video with the Virtual Rose Run Event details.
