Consumers Energy to Provide Manchester and Grass Lake Communities with Free Meals Sunday

(August 26, 2023 8:22 PM ET) Consumers Energy is providing free meals to the Manchester and Grass Lake communities hit hard by Thursday’s severe storm. The company says it wants to support customers and express gratitude for their patience as crews work to restore electric service.

WHEN: Sunday, Aug. 27, from 9 to 11 a.m.

WHERE: Grand River Brewery at Manchester Market, 455 W Main St., Manchester, MI 48158

WHAT: Breakfast will include a choice of breakfast sandwich, pastries and beverage compliments of Consumers Energy.

WHEN: Sunday, Aug. 27, from noon to 2 p.m.

WHERE: Grass Lake Willis Field Complex (parking lot), 505 Willis Road, Grass Lake, MI 49240

WHAT: A free hamburger and fries meal with choice of beverage will be supplied by Baby Bear Burger food truck.
