All-MCCAA Basketball Awards Announced

(April 3, 2024 9:14 PM ET) Jackson College congratulates members of the Jackson College Jets women’s and men’s basketball teams receiving end-of-season awards from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association for the 2023-24 season:

Women’s Team

Zoandria Bamm, Center, Freshman (Brooklyn/Columbia Central High School) – 2024 All-MCCAA Women’s Team, MCCAA Eastern Conference All-First Team, MCCAA Eastern Conference Freshman of the Year

Kaylona Butler, Guard, Freshman (Toledo, OH/Toledo Christian High School) – 2024 All-MCCAA Women’s Team, MCCAA Eastern Conference All-First Team, MCCAA Eastern Conference All-Freshman Team

Riley Kubiak, Forward, Sophomore (Parma/Western High School), 2024 MCCAA Eastern Conference All-Third Team

Michelle McGee, Guard, Freshman (Grand Rapids/Wyoming High School) 2024 MCCAA Eastern Conference All-Third Team

Kiyla Brooks, Guard, Freshman (Detroit/Detroit Renaissance High School) 2024 MCCAA Eastern Conference All-Defensive Team

The MCCAA Eastern Coach of the Year is Jackson College’s Heather Brown, who piloted the Jets to a share of the east crown with a 10-2 mark as part of a 25-4 overall mark and advanced to the national tournament after earning the Region XII Great Lakes C District trophy, finishing with a 25-6 record.
