An area of high pressure in the Middle Mississippi Valley will build east today and into the Central Appalachians for tonight. As a result the weather here in Michigan today  will feature diminishing clouds and showers followed by a warming trend as we go into Tuesday. THE FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM EDT SUNDAY FOR JACKSON AND INGHAM COUNTIES. WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING. A deepening low pressure system will track through Lower Michigan today. The heavy rain that fell on Saturday and through early this morning will pull away from the region leaving behind flooding for parts of far Southwest Lower Michigan. Strong wind gusts will accompany this storm and power outages are possible today. An area of high pressure builds eastward in the the Central Appalachians on Monday and Tuesday resulting in mainly dry weather for here in Michigan. Today:  Windy.
