The Mighty Mile.  6:30 PM. The Mighty Mile – FREE Race for Kids is coming to Jackson on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Parkside Middle School Track! This free community event is open to children ages 5–14 and encourages kids to stay active, challenge themselves, and have fun. Participants will receive: A FREE t-shirt, a backpack, a finisher medal, a professionally timed mile race. Race spots are limited to the first 200 participants, and registration must be completed online in advance.
