I-94 and Downtown Bridge Construction Update with MDOT’s Kelby Wallace
(May 30, 2023 4:25 PM ET) MDOT will close Seymour Road for rebuilding on Wednesday, May 31. This work is part of MDOT's ongoing $120 million investment to rebuild and widen I-94 near the Airport Road interchange to just west of the east US-127/I-94 interchange in Blackman and Leoni Township. This project will require eastbound Seymour Road traffic to be detoured via Elm Road to O’Leary Road. Westbound Seymour Road traffic will be detoured via O’Leary Road and Elm Road to Seymour Road. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes. This portion of the construction project is scheduled to be completed by June 14.
