Region 2 Area Agency on Agency Announces New Name & Branding
(April 4, 2023 4:23 PM) Region 2 Area Agency on Aging announces that it has completed a major rebrand and will now serve the community as WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging. WellWise Services will continue to operate as an Area Agency on Aging, providing services in Hillsdale, Jackson, and Lenawee Counties. WellWise Services continues to be a member in good standing with the Michigan Association of Area Agencies on Aging and USAging, the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging. “The new name better describes what we do,” states Julie Wetherby, CEO. “’Well’ refers to wellness, health, caregiving, independence and safety and ‘Wise’ refers to giving people the resources and information they need to make good decisions as they plan for services for themselves or others.” Additionally, the agency will move in May, 2023 into the newly constructed building at the former site of Dr. Raymond Cole’s medical practice in Brooklyn. The new building will allow the staff to continue to grow and provide services and programming for those in the tri-county area.
