Jackson Public Schools Superintendent Dan Evans has extended his retirement date to the end of the current school year. At last night's board meeting, the board asked him to postpone his earlier announced retirement date of December, 2013. Among other board actions, the district hired Scott Farley from Leslie High School as the new varsity football coach.
