Bright Walls Mural Festival Postponed Until 2021
(June 5, 2020 8:00 AM) The Bright Walls Mural Festival has announced the postponement of the Bright Walls Grand Finale to 2021. The third and final year of the festival had been planned for September 10-15, 2020. The Bright Walls Mural Festival has become a favorite annual community event for the past two years. In 2019 alone, over 30,000 visitors attended the week-long event in Downtown Jackson. The festival featured international and local artists transforming buildings, music and entertainment acts played from the main stage each day, and family-friendly events were free to enjoy. A new reality hit in early 2020 when the world began to experience the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many, it gave the Bright Walls Team a lot to think about and consider. “We love Jackson and recognize our responsibility to ensure our neighbors and visitors from around the world are enjoying our community in a healthy and safe way,” said Jacque Austin, co-director of Bright Walls Mural Festival.
