By Jeff Steers JTV News (July 19, 2020 1:53 PM) It may not have been the picturesque graduation that Napoleon High School seniors are used to, but 79 were scheduled to walk across the stage on Sunday, July 19, at NHS. The COVID-19 pandemic threw a wrench into the plans for a graduation on May 31. Students walked across a stage in the auditorium on Sunday as friends and family members looked on and took photos. The district – like most others – debated the graduation question since school was canceled for good in early April. A representative graduation committee recently came up with the decision to hold a 1) outdoor graduation – if limitations allow; 2) indoor graduation if limitations allow; or 3) a virtual graduation.
