Auditions will be held Sept. 9–10, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., in the Michael Baughman Theatre, Potter Center.                 Winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play, “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike” is a wickedly funny comedy that reimagines Chekhov’s classic characters (“Uncle Vanya”) in a modern setting. Ages listed are stage ages, flexible for casting. ·                     Vanya – 30-65, thoughtful, resigned, dry wit, deeply nostalgic. ·                     Sonia – 30-60, Vanya’s adopted sister; prone to self-pity but full of emotional depth. ·                     Masha – 30-50, glamorous, successful movie star, self-absorbed but vulnerable. ·                     Spike – 20s, Masha’s new boyfriend; handsome, energetic, loves…
