Columbia Central 57, Clinton 43: The Golden Eagles defeated its former LCAA rivals on the road Tuesday. Hailey Freshcorn scored 22 points, Kylee Knapp added 16 points, and Cece Slat finished with eight points for CCHS.  Jackson Chrisitan 41, Battle Creek Academy 32: Ella Boll scored 16 points, pulled down 20 rebounds, and blocked five shots for JCHS in the win. Rennie Huff added 13 points and three steals for the Royals.  Springport 54, Concord 45: Springport High School gained at least a share of the Big Eight Conference title with the victory. Both teams were 9-1 in conference play heading into the contest, and each have one conference game remaining Thursday. Concord cut the lead to five points in the final quarter but could not get any closer. “Tonight was our senior night … these girls have been playing together for as long as they can remember,” SHS Coach Rick Saldana said. “It was nice to see them play so hard tonight … like every night.” Rylee Siefert scored 19 points and pulled down 16 rebounds, Maddux Locke scored 18 points and dished seven assists, and Brenna Crittenden scored 13 points for the Spartans.
