Jackson College Board Selects Trustee; Elects New Chair and Vice Chair
(February 19, 2026 10:18 AM ET) The Jackson College Board of Trustees appointed a new member and elected a new chairwoman, vice-chairman at its regular meeting this past Monday. Donna Lake will now serve as chairwoman. Lake is a retired Jackson Public Schools elementary teacher and a Jackson College alumna. “This past Monday, I was honored to be selected as chair of the Jackson College Board of Trustees. After nearly 13 years of serving on the board, stepping into this leadership role is both humbling and deeply rewarding. “Jackson College has an exceptional and dedicated Board, and I look forward to working closely with my fellow trustees as we continue to move the College forward,” Lake said. “I am also excited to support the outstanding leadership of our President, Dr. Daniel Phelan, as we continue strengthening opportunities for our students and our community.
