Nite Lites 3rd Annual Run-Walk Scheduled for Thanksgiving Eve
Photo by Ryan Kerwin, JTV The 3rd Annual Nite Lites Christmas 5K Fun Run/Walk will be held on Thanksgiving Eve, November 23rd to launch the season with Jackson’s newest holiday tradition at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. Santa and Mrs. Claus will travel from the North Pole to officially launch the 5K Fun Run at 6pm and the 5K Fun Walk at 6:30pm. Miss Jackson Crossroads 2016, Courtney Clark and 2016 Miss Jackson Crossroads Outstanding Teen, Katie Powell will join the jolly couple at the starting line. Holiday music will greet participants inside the festively decorated American 1 Event Center where race packet pick-up for on-line registrants will begin at 2pm and continue until the event start. On-site registration will also be available for $30 per person.
