Grand River Farmers Market.  The Grand River Farmers Market season goes from June 2nd until October. Every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 am until 2 pm at the corner of Louis Glick & Mechanic St.  The market is full of MICHIGAN GROWN PRODUCE including fresh vegetables, fruits, organic goods, vegan cookies, muffins, granola, honey, jams, breads, pastas, jewelry, dog treats, salsas, fruit pies, sweet corn, tomatoes, hanging flower baskets, blueberries, maple syrup, chard, broccoli, peas, mums, and much more! CityFest BMX Bike Event.  Working in conjunction with the CityFest West Michigan team, Spring Arbor University will host Jackson CityFest, an outdoor outreach festival and ministry of Luis and Andrew Palau Outreach. August 31 Fly on the Ford.  Experience the Golden Age of Aviation.  Recall the energy, passion, and excitement of the Roaring ’20s by flying aboard the Ford Tri-Motor. Known as the first luxury airliner, the Ford Tri-Motor redefined world travel and marked the beginning of commercial flight.  All ticket proceeds support the Experimental Aircraft Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing The Spirit of Aviation with everyone. Our tour stops are hosted by volunteers who are passionate about sharing the Ford Tri-Motor’s stories.  We invite families to visit and learn all about our aircraft and our organization. Viewing the aircraft is free, so be sure to bring your camera along.  Today at Jackson County Airport Reynolds Field.  Rides 9 AM to 5 PM.  Adults $70, child (17 and under) $50 advance online pricing at flytheford.org.  Walk up price $75.  Hosted by the Experimental Aircraft Association. Family Night at the Cascades.  Ian Stewart, jazz guitarist and singer has taken Michigan by storm with his incredible acoustic guitar and voice that captures the grit and beauty of his homeland, Wales.    This is the final Wednesday Family Night of the season.  Admission is $10.00 per family.
