The Kiwanis Club of Jackson on Where We Live

This week on Where We Live, viewers have a chance to visit whit the Kiwanis Club of Jackson. The Kiwanis are local organization whose main goal is to provide positive benefits to area youth. We learn about the Flag Fundraiser that promotes national pride as well as raising almost $30,00 Dollars. Never Enough Time Exhibit at The Ella Sharp Museum on Where We Live

Join us for a trip to the Ella Sharp Museum where we visit the Never Enough Time exhibit and get a tour from local collector & exhibit director Al Spiess, Jr. This exhibit rotates it's collections every six to eight months so there is always a reason to visit.   Where We Live is presented by Lloyd Ganton Retirement Centers.

MacCready Reserve on Where We Live

  This week on Where We Live, we head out to Liberty Township to the MacCready Reserve.  Take a stroll in nature on this land that's open to the public.  The 408-acre MacCready Reserve is for demonstration, education, research and outreach programs in wildlife and forestry management. Architect Claire Allen

This week on Where We Live,   JTV's visit to the home of Bill and Pat Fuerstenau, the Claire Allen designed building on W. Michigan Ave in Jackson.  This series of townhouses, known as the Ionia Block, once was the home of the architect.  Dozens of buildings in Jackson, including St. John's Catholic Church, the old post office (now the front of Consumers Energy) and the Jackson County Courthouse were all designed by Claire Allen.  Also, Judi Ganton hosts Senior Living.
