Crossroads League Tournament

Spring Arbor Univ 4, Mt. Vernon Nazarene 3: Connor Dee and Brenden Phillips each batted two hits for the Cougars. SAU advances in the league tournament and will play again at home on Thursday, they improve to 24-23 overall.

Crossroads League Tournament

Spring Arbor Univ. 3, IN Wesleyan 2 (8 inn.): Brooke Meeker batted two hits for the Cougars, and Emilee Underwood earned the pitching win. SAU advances to day three of the league tournament, and will play again on Thursday at 3pm.

 

Napoleon 8, Dundee 5: After giving up five runs in the first inning, the Pirates rallied late by scoring six runs in the 6th inning to get the non-conference win. Molly Simpson batted two hits with an RBI to lead Napoleon. Kaitlyn Fall earned the win in the circle. Napoleon is now 8-7 overall.

 

Hanover Horton 22, Jonesville 18 (6 inn.): The game was suspended in the sixth inning after a wild high-scoring affair. Ava Smith batted 4-6 with 8 RBIs for the Comets, Amanda Ley also batted four hits.

TRACK & FIELD

Bronson, Stockbridge at Concord: The host Jackets defeated both schools in the girls events, winning 12 out of 17 events. Sophomore Annie Saenz ran a personal best time of 28.61 in the 200 meter race for Concord. The boys team for CHS won 10 of 17 events. Full results here

 

Springport, Maple Valley at Reading: The Spartans had winners in five of 17 events for the boys, and two winners for the girls. Full results here
