BOYS BASKETBALL
Columbia Central 71, Hanover Horton 45: The Golden Eagles pick up a key Cascades-West victory at home. Nolan Schiel was JTV’s Tri-County Water ‘Player of the Game’ scoring 14 points. Conor Rentfrow added 13 points and David Munro scored 12 points. CCHS improved to 10-4 overall and have now won 5 of their last 6 games. HH fell to 6-7 overall, Cameron Sherwood scored 17 points to lead the Comets. The game will replay on JTV at 1pm & 7pm both Saturday and Sunday.
Lumen Christi 59, Detroit Loyola 57 (OT): The Titans defeat the #2 ranked team in the state on the road for a huge win on Thursday night, LC fell to the Bulldogs earlier this season at home. Ashton Callan led the Titans with 21 points, Broden Burgess added 13 points, and Wes Learned scored 11 points.
Leslie 71, Grass Lake 42: Roman DeRose led the Blackhawks with 22 points. Brayden Gilbert scored 17 points to lead GL. Leslie is now 11-2 overall and 9-0 in conference play.
