Chick-fil-A Announces Jackson Restaurant to Open April 3 

(March 25, 2025 4:42 PM ET) The new Jackson Chick-fil-A restaurant will begin service on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Chantay Bollinger as the independent franchised local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Jackson.

 Located at 971 N. West Ave., Chick-fil-A Jackson will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, catering and Mobile Thru from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with the drive-thru open until 10 p.m. Chick-fil-A Jackson will also feature a playground to serve guests with children.

 The Chick-fil-A Jackson restaurant joins two other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Lansing market.

Chick-fil-A’s franchise model is essential to how the restaurant serves others. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by a single individual, which means Chick-fil-A’s local Owner-Operators are small business owners, not passive investors, who work in their restaurants side by side with their team members each day.

 In Jackson, Bollinger will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 110 full- and part-time team members, serving guests, cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses, and tailoring philanthropic efforts  to meet the Jackson community’s needs.

 Originally from Perrysburg, Ohio, Bollinger developed a passion for serving her community early on. She studied human development and family services in college, motivated by a desire to help others overcome barriers and create a sense of belonging. After earning her master’s degree, she worked in human resources before discovering an opportunity to make an even bigger impact through Chick-fil-A.

 “My journey to becoming a local Owner-Operator started with curiosity,” Bollinger said. “A good friend raved about her positive experience working as a Team Member, and when I visited her restaurant, I realized that Chick-fil-A is more than just a place to eat—it is a space where people feel welcomed, cared for and have a chance to make a meaningful impact.”

 Bollinger joined Chick-fil-A in 2018, where she served as an Executive Director of Employee Experience at a restaurant in the Toledo area and played a key role in enhancing the Team Member experience. Following her leadership role, Bollinger joined the Chick-fil-A^® Leadership Development Program where she gained operational and business leadership skills. After more than seven years at Chick-fil-A, Bollinger was selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Jackson, where she is excited to make a positive impact both inside and outside the restaurant.

 “The more I immersed myself in this company, the more I understood Chick-fil-A’s mission to serve and care for others,” Bollinger added. “I’m thrilled to offer great food, signature hospitality and career growth opportunities to Jackson. My hope is that both Guests and Team Members will feel valued, seen and supported—just like I have throughout my journey to becoming an Operator.”

 Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators support the neighborhoods they serve with a key focus on hunger, education, and specific community needs.

In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of South Michigan Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank,  in honor of the new restaurant. 

Bollinger’s restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table^® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 35 million meals have been created from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations from over 2,300 Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the U.S. and Canada.  

 In addition, Chick-fil-A Jackson is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Jackson area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
