An area of high pressure will remain over the region today through Tuesday providing most regions with mostly clear skies and warm temperatures.  A low pressure system will track eastward through the Great Lakes Region Wednesday through Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will accompany the passage of this system. A cooler Canadian airmass arrives for the weekend.

Wednesday:  Mostly sunny until midday then becoming partly sunny. A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 80s. Light winds.
