Cold and unsettled today and Tuesday with numerous rain showers. The rain will mix with or change to snow tonight and early Tuesday inland from Lake Michigan and some minor wet snow accumulations are possible on the grass. Temperatures will moderate mid week, but more rain showers will return Wednesday night and Thursday as another low pressure system approaches.

Today:  Scattered rain showers, possibly mixed with snow showers until midday, then numerous rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 40s. West winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph. Chance of precipitation 70 percent.

Tonight:  Cloudy. Scattered rain showers in the evening, then scattered rain and snow showers overnight. Lows in the mid 30s. West winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.

Tuesday:  Mostly cloudy. Scattered rain showers, possibly mixed with snow showers until midday, then isolated rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 40s. West winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.

Tuesday Night:  Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday:  Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 40s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
