Lake effect snow showers will wind down through the course of today. Very cold air will remain in place today with high temperatures only expected to make it into the teens. Wind chill values will hover around zero today. The focus this weekend will be on an area of low pressure that will ride northeast along a polar front across Lower Michigan. Snow is expected from late tonight through Sunday. Through the course of the weekend, accumulating snow is expected.

Snow. Low around 27. Breezy, with a southwest wind 14 to 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of around 2 inches.

Snow, mainly before 1pm. High near 30. West southwest wind 10 to 14 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of around 2 inches.
